In June 2010 National Geographic published an article in their Magazine about the Worcester bombing of 1996. It depicts the road to reconcialition that the whole nation of South Africa needs to and must walk. A story of victims and perpetrators; blood, sweet and tears... We have become involved with the Worcester Hope and Reconciliation process since the beginning of this year, after being invited by the mayor of Worcester. Read on to see the whole story. FamilyBase is a ministry focussed on families. Our heart is to see families restored to God's design. We are part of YWAM Worcester, South Africa.

Dream
Our dream is to create a safe place (base) where we can receive families for a season in their journey to encourage and support them, to train them and to send them out to grow and minister to other families. It is a place to escape from the rush of every day and focus on your family.

Why?
Families are the building blocks of society. However, today the society as a whole is in decay, because the building blocks are dysfunctional. Family Ministries wants to point families back to God's design: a healthy Christ-centred family. No family is perfect, but with God's grace we can find healing!
